have a pot of tea.

imagine sipping from a warm pot of tea.

when you take that first sip,

what type of tea did you imagine drinking?

is it light?

bitter?

sweet?

was the flavor,

a delicate blend of chamomile and honey?

soothing your senses with its gentle sweetness?

'cause in a world transformed by a pandemic,

a pot of tea became a sanctuary.

its warmth embraced us,

a refuge from realities.

throughout the pandemic,

our lives transformed in unpredictable ways.

in that tranquil moment,

dreams are woven into reality.

dreams intertwined with reality,

a tapestry woven with hope and hardship.

so did you dream a dream?

'cause we did.

ever wonder how one pandemic has changed all of us.

for the better or not,

it depend.

across digital landscapes,

crossing oceans.

we found solace in newfound friendships from corners of the world we'd never have explored otherwise.

new friendships blossomed,

transcending borders,

defying oceans.

oceans were crossed,

not just in miles but in experiences shared.

we navigated this uncharted territory,

how was yours like?

ours was wild.

our shared journey wild and untamed.

some said sometimes it takes ten years to get that one year that changes your life,

ours did.

let me tell you our story for CreateTogether.

and you can decide on what you think.

do you know yourself, the true version inside?

was what you did right, or just a deceit?

was what happened just, did it make it whole?

did you find the happiness you sought for your soul?

wish for? wait for?

when the aspirations have been torn,

in a thousand ways, they've all been worn.

yet now, there's a thousand petals to tend to,

the petals has been destroyed by its thorn,

& now,

it have a thousand petals to tend itself again.

to rebuild the stems and start anew.

the only reason why people hold onto memories so tight,

is because bubbles are the thing that don't change,

even when every hearts does,

hearts do, but bubbles stay.

memories hold tight, bubbles that don't pop,

while hearts change,

they stay the same, unmoving.

maybe the version it has in its head wasn't true,

maybe holding onto what it thought it was,

holding on to what it thought it knew.

in another world, it all could be,

in another life, just wait and see.

they took it home, their family to meet,

introduced it warmly, made plans so sweet.

travel the world, put each other first,

slammed by the door, it felt the worst.

belittled and mocked, a fool to show,

make a fool of someone else,

now it makes a fool of itself,

now it's lost, with nowhere to go.

who are it to tell them that they can't be broken?

kiss the petals' eye, words softly spoken.

maybe they should have been more conscious of how they spoke to it.

young hearts trust the wrong, in jest they stake,

guess it was it, just one more trial.

if it is hurting you, go seek the aid you need,

in the rose’s thousand of petals, find strength from within its thorn.

the flower stated, "it was just a joke."

who were you to say they aren't torn?

holding to a truth, rose and thorn.

maybe you were holding onto a version that wasn't true,

young hearts fall for shadows and deceits,

who are you to say they can't weep?

young people fall for the wrong version of it,

who are you to tell it that they can't be broken?

& for a time, it started to believe it,

everyone thought they were sisters, deceive.

in family photos, the bond seems clear,

yet in its eyes, a joke held dear.

were they sisters, more than friends?

young hearts trust in the wrong petals,

guess the one was it, a fragile view.

maybe you were holding onto a version that wasn't true;
