have a pot of tea.

imagine sipping from a warm pot of tea.

when you take that first sip,

what type of tea did you imagine drinking?

is it light?

bitter?

sweet?

was the flavor,

a delicate blend of chamomile and honey?

soothing your senses with its gentle sweetness?

'cause in a world transformed by a pandemic,

a pot of tea became a sanctuary.

its warmth embraced us,

a refuge from realities.

throughout the pandemic,

our lives transformed in unpredictable ways.

in that tranquil moment,

dreams are woven into reality.

dreams intertwined with reality,

a tapestry woven with hope and hardship.

so did you dream a dream?

'cause we did.

ever wonder how one pandemic has changed all of us.

for the better or not,

it depend.

across digital landscapes,

crossing oceans.

we found solace in newfound friendships from corners of the world we'd never have explored otherwise.

new friendships blossomed,

transcending borders,

defying oceans.

oceans were crossed,

not just in miles but in experiences shared.

we navigated this uncharted territory,

how was yours like?

ours was wild.

our shared journey wild and untamed.

some said sometimes it takes ten years to get that one year that changes your life,

ours did.

let me tell you our story for CreateTogether.

and you can decide on what you think.

life at first "Fudge off."

uncertainty lingered in the air,

but everything began with "U & I,"

& soon, "I & U" became a melody through music,

two souls soaring through the sky.

yet as the distance shrank, doubts crept in,

what if it came closer? what would it say?

what would it think? the very thought terrified,

a fear that whistled love away.

if it vanish, how could it cope?

fear's grip tightened, strangling hope.

if you were to leave,

if you were to leave its side,

how could it ever let you disappear?

it lived in constant dread of this goodbye.

a fool watching from afar,

only able to admire it from a distance,

afraid of being rejected, love left ajar.

the thought of farewell haunted its days,

a sorrow too deep to bear,

worried that closeness might tear them apart.

it was a fool for not speaking,

maybe because of the looming end,

& the sorrow that would follow.

if you came closer, what would it do?

it wouldn't know how to react,

its heart raced, unsure, so true.

but like a fool, it kept silent,

watching love from a distance,

afraid of rejection, of growing apart.

fearful that distance would divide,

& there may be a wall between them,

it was a fool for not expressing its love,

& not accepting the chance of rejection,

it feared the inevitable farewell,

the days of agony that would follow.

the thought of goodbye, the ache to follow,

left it silent, it heart felt hollow.

life's like a school with lessons harsh

& sometimes, you must let bridges burn.

so it'll say it now, even if it breaks:

"SHUT UP! FUDGE OFF OUT OF IT LIFE FOREVER!"
