have a pot of tea.

imagine sipping from a warm pot of tea.

when you take that first sip,

what type of tea did you imagine drinking?

is it light?

bitter?

sweet?

was the flavor,

a delicate blend of chamomile and honey?

soothing your senses with its gentle sweetness?

'cause in a world transformed by a pandemic,

a pot of tea became a sanctuary.

its warmth embraced us,

a refuge from realities.

throughout the pandemic,

our lives transformed in unpredictable ways.

in that tranquil moment,

dreams are woven into reality.

dreams intertwined with reality,

a tapestry woven with hope and hardship.

so did you dream a dream?

'cause we did.

ever wonder how one pandemic has changed all of us.

for the better or not,

it depend.

across digital landscapes,

crossing oceans.

we found solace in newfound friendships from corners of the world we'd never have explored otherwise.

new friendships blossomed,

transcending borders,

defying oceans.

oceans were crossed,

not just in miles but in experiences shared.

we navigated this uncharted territory,

how was yours like?

ours was wild.

our shared journey wild and untamed.

some said sometimes it takes ten years to get that one year that changes your life,

ours did.

let me tell you our story for CreateTogether.

and you can decide on what you think.

in a season meant for laughter and cheer,

now confined to screens, the joy soften.

gifts and gatherings, once pure and bright,

transformed to 3D or 4D, a detached sight.

white elephants and Santas in disguise,

twisted into tools for selfish prize.

reality denied, a million-year plea,

to accept the truth, let spirits roam free.

respect, a bridge between life and the deceased,

in joyous times, let negativity be released.

no right or wrong in the choices we find,

acceptance, the balm for a peaceful mind.

speak not in haste, for thought is the key,

disrespectful words, a stain on you and me.

in the dance of joy, let understanding sway,

for in acceptance, true respect holds sway.

in a land where elves twirl with glee,

and cookies sweet, a festive spree.

Hohohoho, Santa descends with delight,

down the chimney, not the chimey, just right.

in this realm where joy takes flight,

understanding blooms, a guiding light.

not all answers in black or white,

time and place, their dance in the night.

a match found in moments, a magical grace,

embracing the now, in this joyful space.

so let's join the dance, hearts unite,

in the spirit of cheer, oh, what a sight!

a drunken elves here,

a drunken elves there.

drunken elves dance, prance everywhere,

guided by Rudolph's red nose in the festive air.

laughter and cheers mark the merriment's peak,

yet beware, Santa's coal for those on the naughty streak.

as the year concludes its grand ballet,

first snowflakes gently begin to sway.

a silent dance, a celestial call,

to witness the end with the first snowfall.

whispers of winter, a hushed allure,

blanketing the world, a scene so pure.

each flake a tale, in soft descent,

a frozen symphony, time well-spent.

in the quiet embrace of this icy bower,

the year bows out, a tranquil hour.

nature's curtain falls, a frosty sprawl,

marking the end with the first snowfall

on your tongue and lashes, a wintery dance,

like Frosty, the snowman, in a fleeting trance.
