life at first duyên.

there are words

in every languages

that slip through translation— unfathomable in meaning,

& duyên is one of them.

duyên,

when fate meets timing,

is when timing whistles through the stars,

the reason two souls cross paths,

or the stars nudge these souls to cross once more.

& fate brushes its hand,

it's the gentle hush of the universe, softly whistling, "this was meant to be,"

the cosmos humming in-between.

have it ever met a friend it never sought to know,

a stranger's laugh beside its walk,

a lover's glance that spark a flame,

or shared a small talk like a fleeting nod that seed a glow,

when something about them lingered?

that’s duyên.

not always loud,

but present.

not always lasting,

but undeniable.

so did its paths ever cross without warning—

never thinking it’d be more—

a moment carved by unseen art,

yet it left its mark,

it might blossom bright or wither fast,

a quiet impression

etched somewhere deep,

but always leaves its print on heart?

life, after all, is a mystery—

sometimes,

when they least expect,

unexpected meetings,

someone steps into their orbits—

beyond their usual circles,

beyond logic,

leading to wonder,

or sometimes,

their downfall,

changing everything.

but it was duyên.

to have duyên—

but miss the thread

that weaves it close enough to stay—

is like a half-heard melody,

an echo lost before it plays.

to have duyên—

yet not fate,

will lead to

is a dance of missed connections,

like those edm souls

posting missed connections without using their brain to connect beforehand.

& yet,

to have duyên

but not fate

is like a missed train

that once stopped at their station,

vô duyên.

so when it see those miss-connection notes

drift through the EDM machine,

remember how duyên brought it here—

though fate and timing stand between;
